Villa Lourenco is located on the outskirts of Quinta do Lago, a development that offers world-class golf courses, water sports and the popular Quinta Shopping area with boutiques and restaurants.

The golden, sandy beaches of the Algarve are popular with local surfers and the families holidaying in Vale do Lobo. As well as golf, horse-riding and tennis, there are plenty of water sports on offer along this section of the Atlantic coast.

There are many golf courses nearby; the nearest being the Royal and Ocean courses on the neighbouring Vale do Lobo development, approximately 2km from the villa. Alternatively, Quinta do Lago South (the course used for the Portuguese open) and Quinta do Lago North are approximately 4km away.

The popular Quinta Shopping area is approximately 1.5km from the property has a selection of boutiques and international restaurants including Chinese and Italian. The Bougainvillea Plaza next door has more essential shops such as super markets, a bank, and a newsstand.

Nearby attractions for those with children (or who are just big kids) include the ‘Aqua Show’ water park, a 15 minute drive from Vale do Lobo and the Zoo-Marine sea life centre theme park in Albufeira, approximately 25km away.

The pretty, inland town of Loulé, a 20 minute drive from the property, has a market every Saturday where the local craftsmen display their wares.

Approach

This family holiday villa in the outskirts of Quinta do Lago offers comfortable accommodation and space to enjoy, sun-filled outdoor living. Set on one level; the sleeping accommodation and bathrooms are off to the left of the property and the living accommodation is to the right, nearest the pool, terraces and barbecue.

Ground Floor

The cosy, well-appointed living area has a feature fireplace in the centre of the wall with a long, tapered chimney and shelves to either side. You can relax on the comfortable sofa and armchairs here whilst you watch television. There are glass patio doors, framed with curtains that open out on to the covered terrace. To the right of the living area is a dining area with table and chairs to seat four. At the side here, there is a single door leading out to the side of the house where there is a pretty pergola, intertwined with colourful, climbing plants. Behind the living area, through a single door is the fitted kitchen with wooden units, which is well-equipped with a microwave and washing machine. From the kitchen there is a door leading out to a small courtyard area.
To the left of the kitchen and living area is a small corridor leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master double bedroom has a double bed, small bedside tables on either side of the bed and views through the window to the blue water of the pool. The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds and there are wall lights for soft lighting in the evening. There is a full bathroom and a separate shower room.

Outside

The covered outdoor terrace has the feel of a conservatory, with a full ceiling and glass panels to the side and front. There are soft sofas and a dining table and chairs for four here. This area is great for families as parents can relax here whilst also being able to keep an eye on the kids in the pool. A short flight of steps to the right of the terrace lead down to the pool area, enclosed within a low, white wall. The private, rectangular pool has integral steps so that you can ascend gradually into the water. There is plenty of greenery and pretty flowering shrubs planted in and around the borders of the garden, and climbing plants trail along the front of the terrace. To the front of the property, conveniently just outside the kitchen, is a courtyard area with a built-in barbecue for outdoor family dining.
