Villa Jemima

Just a few minute’s walk from the beach at Coral Bay, this family villa with pool is ideally situated for all that the area has to offer. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, as is the Five Star Coral Bay Beach Hotel which has facilities open to non-residents. The heart of the Coral Bay resort is a five minute bus journey away (the bus stop is a few metres from the villa at the bottom of the road) or a leisurely fifteen minute stroll. Buses run regularly to Paphos and the harbour. The village of Peyia is a 5 minute drive away, whilst Paphos is 15 minutes and the airport 25 minutes.

Coral Bay is considered by many to be the best beach on the island, with long stretches of gently sloping golden sand and clear, turquoise water. The streets approaching Coral Bay are lined with shops and restaurants, with a number of beachside tavernas providing refreshments. This beach can become busy in the height of summer but is well-maintained and clean.

Other attractions for families include a games centre, children’s playground and karting, horse-riding in the surrounding countryside or the fun and slides at the Aphrodite water park at nearby Paphos. Hiking is very popular in the spectacular Troodos mountains, around an hour’s drive from the villa - the mountain air is generally cooler although the sun will still be very strong. Water sports are available at all the main seaside resorts in high season, with activities such as jet skiing, diving and boat excursions on offer. There are 3 excellent golf courses in the region, all within a half hour drive of the villa.

The city of Paphos has a harbour and castle attracting visitors all year round. There is an array of seafront fish restaurants and tavernas overlooking the colourful fishing boats bobbing gently on the water. Paphos is famous for its Pafitka fabric which can be purchased locally as well as a range of other handicrafts and gifts including pottery and lace. For those who enjoy a little culture, the famous Paphos Mosaics near Paphos harbour are well worth a visit. These astonishing Roman relics were discovered by accident in the 1960’s, when further excavation revealed preserved Roman houses with mosaics depicting scenes from ancient mythology.

Approach

Villa Jemima is on a development of similar villas just a couple of minutes from the sea at Coral Bay. The gardens are enclosed by a low wall and railings and there is a wrought iron gateway leading to an off-road parking area at the front of the villa.

Ground Floor

The villa has stylish modern furnishings, pale walls and tiled flooring, with air conditioning available throughout. There is a lounge area with leather sofas and patio doors to the garden and a formal dining room with a table and six chairs overlooking the pool. The fitted kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine as well as a hob, oven and fridge/freezer.

First Floor

There are two simply furnished twin bedrooms and a master bedroom with an en suite shower room and private balcony with superb sea views – a lovely spot to watch the sun go down. There is also a separate family bathroom.

Outside

The villa has an enclosed paved/gravel garden with palms and flowering shrubs. There is a covered dining area with patio furniture and a barbecue is provided for easy outdoor meals.

The pool itself has integral steps and is surrounded by a sun terrace equipped with four sunbeds. There is also a convenient poolside shower.
