Delightful villa for up to six people, set in the countryside surrounded by olive groves. Nestled in the hillside just above Skopelos town, Villa Chrysalis guarantees plenty of privacy, as well as spectacular views of Skopelos town and harbour.

Villa Chrysalis is a two storey ‘upside down’ property built into the hillside. The entrance to the villa is on the first floor, and leads into a spacious open-plan living area and kitchen, with lots of windows looking out onto the pool and terraces. The living room has a traditional yet cosy atmosphere, with a corner fireplace, open wood-beamed ceilings and a large dining table. There is plenty of space for the family to spread out and relax. The kitchen is large, light and airy, and features all the mod cons, including a dishwasher and washing machine. French doors lead from the dining area onto an open terrace which is perfect for al fresco dining on balmy summer nights. This terrace commands stunning views of olive groves, red tiled roofs and the bustling harbour below, making it very tough to drag yourself away!

The first floor also houses a double bedroom and shower room, reached through a hallway which can be closed off for more privacy.

The lower level of the house is reached via a staircase from the kitchen. Here you will find a further two bedrooms and a large shower room between them. Each bedroom has two single beds, one of which can be converted into a double, and are comfortably furnished. Both rooms have French doors leading to a small terrace with table and chairs, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the lush garden and views of olive groves. From these terraces, an outdoor staircase provides access to the pool and main terrace.

One of Villa Chrysalis’ best features has to be the spacious yet secluded grounds. The pool is surrounded by large terraces which command sweeping views of the sea and valley. There is a built-in poolside BBQ for cooking outdoors, whilst the terrace outside the kitchen has a large dining table which is great for serving up large meals. Wherever you are, you cannot escape the splendid views of velvet green hillsides, light blue skies and turquoise seas.

Many walking paths and trails are within easy reach of the villa, as well as a footpath leading down to town. A 150 m footpath leads to the main ring road that skirts the town and from there you will find numerous routes that wind through the cobbled, stepped streets to town. Several restaurants are within easy walking distance of the villa via the foot path. The town’s harbour front is approx. 15min walk down hill from the villa. A leisurely stroll will take you past the quaint backstreet boutiques, souvenir shops and eventually to the harbour where you will find an array of cafe bars and traditional tavernas.
