Lantillaise

The center of Aire sur Adour, which is walking distance from the house, has one of the best local markets in the area twice a week with many local products like Foie Gras Magret or Confit. The town also offers a good range of shops, bars and restaurants as well as some impressive old buildings like the ampitheatre, nowdays occasionally used for bullfights; or the Cathedral, which is on the way to Santiago de Compostela. The towpath used by the pilgrims is still useable and you can walk to Bayonne if you like it!

Accommodation

You enter the house through large sliding French windows, via a patio with wooden decking, directly into the main living room equipped with comfortable seating in front of a fireplace, a satellite TV plus video and CD player; behind the sitting area are a table and chairs to seat 6. At the rear of this room are another set of sliding doors onto a delightful covered terrace with outdoor table and chairs that overlook the pool. A modern kitchen area is separated from the rest of the room by a bar and two stools; it is equipped with traditional oven, microwave and dishwasher. On the right side of the main room, a corridor leads to two bedrooms; one double and one twin suitable for children, as well as a shower room and a separate WC. On the left side of the main room, is a small hall with a desk, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and then a bathroom with bath shower and WC, a dressing area and a double bedroom. Both double bedrooms have sliding doors opening onto the front terrace.

Outside

Outside the enclosed 1500m2 garden is mainly made up of a lawnand includes a boules court and ping pong table. The 8m x 4.5m heated swimming pool has steps and a sliding glazed frame. On one side is a separate studio with double bedroom, TV and ensuite shower room/wc.
