Lagos Marina apartments are in the heart of Lagos marina, close to the selection of fine fish restaurants, boutique shops and café bars. There are a number of trips possible from the marina, including dolphin safaris, diving tours and snorkelling, as well as deep sea fishing.

A short stroll through the marina and over a footbridge takes you into Lagos town with its winding cobbled streets and selection of restaurants and bars. Lagos has a long and varied history. It is one of the oldest and most delightful towns in the Algarve and was once its capital. It was the site of Henry the Navigator’s palace and played an important role in the age of discovery, as Vasco da Gama set sail from here in 1499. It is also the site of the first slave market in Europe, and the town is full of interesting old architecture and fountains for those who enjoy a little sightseeing.

Nowadays the town is a flourishing tourist resort. The winding cobbled streets of the old town are full of interesting little cafes, antique shops and art galleries. Take a break and watch the street entertainers while enjoying a ‘bica’or strong coffee, or stroll along the marina to see the fashionable set. At night the town is buzzing with nightlife. Cocktails have become a speciality, and there are countless bars in which to sample one. Shopping is a pleasure with many boutiques to choose from, selling wickerwork, jewellery, copperware and leather goods. Lagos also plays host to the largest market in the region.

Ground Floor

The spacious open plan living area is a light and airy room which is comfortable and stylish. The kitchen area is modern and fully equipped with a hob, microwave, washing machine and all the utensils you need for a self-catering holiday. The living area has comfortable seating for your party, a television which has some satellite channels and a music centre. It also has large double patio doors which open onto a wide sun terrace which has sun beds, tables and chairs and views over the picturesque central pond and children’s play area.

The apartment has a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a twin room which has the use of a separate shower room. Both the rooms are comfortably furnished in a modern style.

Outside

The living area leads out onto a large balcony which is equipped with sun loungers and outdoor dining furniture. The balcony has a lovely view of the large central pond and the children’s play area.

Additional Information

Guests staying in this apartment have the use of the Marina Club swimming pool which is a few minutes walk. There is also a sauna, gym and Jacuzzi for which there is a small daily charge. There is a restaurant and bar also within the complex.
