Located on prestigious Vale do Milho Golf resort with other courses nearby, this lovely villa with private pool is ideal for a golfing holiday in the sun. Casa Barbara is located on the Vale de Milho estate which has been built up around the 9-hole, 3-par golf course.

There are two restaurants within 800m of the villa, one at the north entrance to the estate and one at the south entrance. There are also other restaurants, a bar, two supermarkets and several shops 800m away along Estrada do Farol. This is also the road to take to Centianes beach, a sandy beach reached by steps and backed by dramatic cliffs, also around 800m from the villa. Please bear in mind that the uphill walk back to the villa can be quite hard work as the road is steep.

Carvoeiro, just 3km away, was once a quiet fishing village but has steadily grown in size over the years and has a flourishing tourist trade. The streets are lined with cafes, bars and restaurants. A stroll around the older streets of the town will take you to quaint shops offering local crafts for sale and market stalls selling fresh local goods. The small sandy beach has water sports on offer in summer. Local fishermen still bring home their catches to the harbour, which is a reminder of a past way of life.

The Algarve offers a vast array of world-class golf courses, many of which are in the Carvoeiro area. There are also plenty of opportunities to try other leisure activities such as horse-riding, tennis, water sports, and even wine-tasting. Nearby attractions for children include the Aqualand Water Park at Alcantarilha, around 15km away, the Slide and Splash water park at Lagoa and the Zoomarine park at Guia to the north of Albufeira.

Ground Floor

Steps lead down to two double bedrooms which are furnished with 5ft beds and have their own en suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Patio doors from both of these rooms take you out onto the pool terrace. There is a further twin bedroom.

First Floor

The comfortable living accommodation of Casa Barbara is on the upper level of the villa. The interior of the villa has recently been completely refurbished and is decorated in a light, modern style. There is a large living area which has white-washed walls and pale floors. The centre point of the room is a pretty wood burning fireplace, around which comfortable seating is gathered. The room has a television, which has some satellite channels, and a DVD player. Large patio doors lead out onto a delightful terrace which is equipped with outdoor dining furniture, and offers picturesque views of the surrounding area out towards the sea. Steps from here lead up to the roof terrace which enjoys a similar vista. The formal dining room has a modern table and seating for six people.

The kitchen is modern and fully fitted. Equipped with base and eye level wooden units and contemporary fittings, the kitchen is equipped with a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen has a breakfast dining area, and there is a serving hatch through to the dining room. Also on this level is a shower room and a utility room housing the washing machine..

Outside

The pretty patio area has a kidney shaped pool (9m x 4m, 90cm to 1.6m depths) with integral steps, surrounded by trimmed box hedging and small areas of green lawn. On the pool terrace there is an outdoor dining area and a barbecue to take advantage of the warm evenings and eat outside.
