Enjoying an excellent location with views over Albufeira’s marina, the villa is within walking distance of a selection of restaurants and bars, with Albufeira Old Town around 1.5km away although the terrain is quite hilly. The nearest sandy beach is Praia da Baleeria and Peneco Beach is round 2km away. The colourful marina has an array of waterfront cafes and bars – you can sit on your balcony and admire the sleek yachts and cruisers as they come and go or make the most of the balmy evenings with a stroll around. The marina also has a smart yacht club and there are various boat excursions, including dolphin safaris, departing on a regular basis.

Albufeira has grown from a small fishing village into a popular coastal resort whilst retaining much of its charm. The old Moorish part of town has narrow cobbled streets and white-washed fishermen’s cottages, whilst the tourist centre and ‘Strip’ has lively bars, restaurants serving international food and nightclubs where you can dance the night away.

Guia, to the north of Gale, is a pretty village renowned locally for its restaurants serving chicken piri piri, a traditional spiced chicken dish. Guia is also home to Algarve Shopping, a huge commercial centre with a selection of over one hundred shops including a hypermarket, a range of clothes stores and a multiscreen cinema and bowling alley. Zoomarine is a popular attraction at Guia, with exotic birds and marine animals including dolphins and sharks on show. Other family entertainment in the region includes the Aqualand water park, 15km away near Alcanterilha, and the Slide and Splash water park at Estombar, to the east of Lagoa. .

There are many superb golf courses in the Algarve, the nearest being the 18-hole course at Salgados Golf which backs onto the sand dunes at Gale beach with lovely views across the Atlantic

Ground Floor

This stylish modern villa benefits from full air conditioning, central heating and electric window and door shutters throughout. The open-plan living area has a tiled floor and large picture windows letting in plenty of light and offering views over the pool. There is a seating area with a comfortable sofa and a flat screen television with some satellite channels. The dining area is furnished with a large dining table with seating for up to ten people. There is even room for a large snooker table – great for a lively after-dinner competition! Sliding patio doors open directly to the swimming pool and garden.

The well-equipped kitchen has a range of modern fitted units and appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is also a twin bedroom and bathroom on this floor.

First Floor

Wooden stairs lead to the three first floor bedrooms which all have contemporary furnishings, sleek wood flooring and balconies. Bedroom one has a double bed, en suite bathroom and patio doors to a private terrace. There are also two twin rooms with a terrace overlooking the sea and marina.

Basement

There is a games room with table football.

Outside

The villa has a well-kept garden bordered by a wall and hedges for privacy. There is a lawned area, a built-in barbecue and patio furniture and recliners for relaxing in the sunshine. A covered dining area provides some welcome shade for leisurely al fresco lunches.

The villa’s L-shaped pool is a particular feature of the property as it can be accessed directly from the villa’s living room. There is also a convenient outdoor shower.
