This villa enjoys a central location on the well-known Vale do Lobo development, close to the beaches, shops, restaurants and, of course, golf courses. It also has the benefit of an attractive situation on a plot with views out to sea and beyond. It also overlooks the 16th hole of the manicured, green golf course; both these surroundings make dining al fresco a picturesque experience.

The nearby golden, sandy beaches of the Algarve are popular with local surfers and the families holidaying in Vale do Lobo. As well as golf, horse-riding and tennis, there are plenty of water sports on offer along this section of the Atlantic coast.

There are many golf courses within the Algarve; the nearest being the Royal and Ocean courses on Vale do Lobo development, approximately 1km away from the villa. Alternatively, Quinta do Lago South (the course used for the Portuguese open) and Quinta do Lago North are approximately 4km away.

The supermarkets and restaurants of Vale do Lobo are both are less than a kilometre away and there are plenty more restaurants and cafes lining the sophisticated beach front Praca (or promenade).

Nearby attractions include the 'Aqua Show' water park, a 15 minute drive from Vale do Lobo and the Zoo-Marine sea life centre theme park in Albufeira, approximately 25km away. The inland town of Loule, 20 minutes away by car, has a craft market every Saturday.

Ground Floor

As you enter this property the kitchen is on your right and the living area straight ahead. To your left are the stairs leading to the upper floor, and the entrance hall corridor extends left to the bedrooms. The property faces south towards the sea, therefore the living area and bedrooms are well positioned to enjoy the beautiful sea views. The fully-fitted kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The glass windows and doors in the open-plan living area flood the room with natural light and immediately draw the eye towards the views of the blue horizon outside. As well as two large, comfortable sofas, satellite television and a fireplace, there is also a dining area with a glass-topped table and wooden chairs to seat four. The simple, clean white walls and smooth, tiled floor ensure that the space feels cool and calm even in the summer heat.

Returning to the entrance corridor you will find the first twin bedroom which has doors out to the garden so that you can head straight out for a refreshing dip in the pool to wake you up in the morning. Opposite the bedroom is a separate bathroom with a full bath, overhead shower, basin and toilet. The last room in this floor is a further twin bedroom, also with doors out onto the garden which provide glimpses of the sea. It also has its own en-suite bathroom.

First Floor

A curving staircase leads up to the master bedroom on the first floor. As you enter the landing, there is a small storeroom on the left and the bedroom is straight ahead. This room is furnished with twin beds, has its own en-suite to the left corner of the room and has a set of doors opening out on to a private roof terrace with stunning views across the 16th hole of the Ocean golf course and towards the sea. This beautiful, private spot would be a lovely place to sit and enjoy your first cup of tea in the morning sun, or alternatively, to enjoy a glass of wine under the stars after the sun has sunk behind the horizon.

Outside

The outside of this villa has a large terraced area surrounding the pool and joining it to the house, upon which there are a few sun-loungers lined up, gazing out to sea. The plot is outlined with a low, white wall with an attractive crosshatched insert. The large rectangular pool is approximately 8x 4m and has a set of integral steps leading into it from one corner, so you can take the plunge gradually. Planted within the grounds are tall, thin trees with wide canopies which provide some dappled shade. In addition, there is barbecue, and a table and chairs on the terrace; creating the ideal place for al fresco dining with a view.
